어제 출시된 따끈따끈한 급 바이럴 되고 있는 앱이 있어서 공유할까 합니다.

Naval Ravikant 과 Brian Norgard (ex-CPO of Tinder)가 만든 Voice based 소셜 앱 airchat 입니다.

airchat 파운더인 Naval이 앱에 대해 포스트 했습니다:

“It’s not the normal social media experience, and that’s what happens when we communicate again with our voices and our faces instead of from behind keyboards, Online text-only media has given us this delusion that people can’t get along, but actually everybody can get along. It just requires the natural voice.”

목소리를 이용해 소통했을 때 더 진정성이 전달되고 더 real social에 가깝지 않냐는 얘기를 합니다.

airchat을 설명할 때 Twitter + Clubhouse 혹은 진화된 Clubhouse라고 많이 표현하고 있습니다. Clubhouse에서 얻은 인사이트를 통해 실시간으로 진행되는 voice based community conversation이 아니라 async로 진행되는 twitter와 동일한 방식의 feed를 채택해 조금 더 지속 가능한 서비스가 되지 않을까 하는 전망이 있습니다.

어제 출시된 따끈따끈한 앱으로 아직 앱의 지속성을 유추하기 어렵지만 파운더들의 진정성과 앱에 대한 긍정적인 피드백들이 앱이 소셜 앱 스펙트럼의 한 축에 속하지 않을까 하는 생각입니다.

이 앱의 바이럴 방식을 Invite Only입니다. 현재 사용하시려면 유저한테 초대받아야지만 가능합니다 :)
